It's important to get the surface of your tires clean before applying your dressing to achieve the best results.  By using a stiff bristled and a cleaner you can remove embedded dirt and contamination for the tires surface.  This is a great option that has a contoured brush surface so it will fit the side wall of tires. You can also use it from side to side (not using the contour) to clean lower profile tires.
